Independent Non-Executive Chairman
Tim Carroll joined the Board in March 2011 and was appointed Chairman in June 2013. He is a renowned international business leader, with significant London Market and Lloyd's experience, including roles as CEO of Swiss Re's UK holding company, CEO Europe of GE Insurance Solutions and US President and CEO of GE Reinsurance Inc. He currently holds a number of independent non-executive directorships within in the UK insurance industry. Tim has held a number of high profile industry positions including President of the Insurance Institute of London. He received the Chartered Insurance Institute's medal for distinguished service in 2008.
Chief Executive Officer
Artur Niemczewski has nearly twenty years' experience within insurance and the financial industry. He is a successful and passionate business transformation leader with a track record in improving business performance.
Prior to joining Pro on 01 February 2014 Artur led the restructuring and revitalisation of Garwyn Group Ltd, the UK's largest specialist liability loss adjuster. Prior to his role at Garwyn, Artur was Managing Director of Xchanging Broking Services Ltd at Xchanging Plc. Artur served as Chief Executive of Multi-National Division for Marsh UK Ltd of Marsh, Inc and Chief Operating Officer of Willis International Holdings Ltd at Willis Group. While at Willis, Artur gained extensive international experience covering most commercial insurance markets across North and South America, Asia, and Continental Europe, including a secondment with Willis Germany.
Artur holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and an MSc in Public Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology.
Andrew is the Finance Director of Pro Global Insurance Solutions plc. Andrew is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has been working within the Financial Services Industry for the past 22 years. He has experience not only with Finance but has held the role of Risk Manager of a Life and Pension Group. He has delivered a number of key change programmes including an enterprise risk framework and data governance framework for Solvency II. Andrew holds a Master’s in Business Administration.
Non Executive Director
Gilles has been Global Head of Insurance for Groupe Artémis since 2000 and previously headed its Merger and Acquisitions Group. He was responsible for the creation in 2001 of Tawa. Gilles managed the acquisition of Aoba (Japan) by Groupe Artémis, the first life insurance company ever acquired 100 per cent by overseas investors in Japan, and supervised that company's run-off strategy from 1999. He managed the sale of Aoba (Japan) in September 2004 to Prudential Life of Japan. Amongst numerous other transactions within the Financière Pinault group, Gilles also managed the take-over of Christie's International Plc, which involved the raising of £780 million of financing. He was appointed to the Board of Pro plc in April 2001.
Loic has served on the Board of Pro plc since January 2013, having previously been on the board from June 2007 to June 2012. Loïc joined Financière Pinault in September 1999, first as an accounting manager and then, from January 2006, as the financial controller manager. Prior to joining Financière Pinault, Loïc was an auditor at Adexi SA from 1990-1997 and an accounting manager at Capri Enterprises SNC (Real Estate) from 1997-1999. Loïc is also a director on a number of company boards as Groupe Artémis representative including Christie's International plc and Stade Rennais football club.
